Zoom Integration Guide

Overview
The MyVillageOS integration for Zoom lets your MyVillageOS AI agents help you manage your Zoom meetings and cloud recordings through natural conversation. Once connected, you can ask an agent to schedule a meeting, look up details, reschedule, or clean up past meetings—without leaving MyVillageOS.
This guide explains how to add (connect), use, and remove the integration. The integration uses Zoom's OAuth authorization, so MyVillageOS never sees or stores your Zoom password.
What the Integration Can Do
After you authorize the connection, MyVillageOS agents can perform the following actions on your behalf, only when you ask:
- Create meetings: Schedule new Zoom meetings with the date, time, topic, and settings you specify.
- View meetings: Retrieve the details of a specific meeting, such as its join link, time, and settings.
- List meetings: Show your upcoming and past meetings.
- Update meetings: Change the topic, time, or settings of an existing meeting.
- Delete meetings: Cancel and remove a meeting you no longer need.
- List recordings: Show your Zoom cloud recordings.
- Read recordings: Access the details of a cloud recording (such as its recording files and links) so an agent can reference or summarize it at your request.
MyVillageOS requests only the permissions needed to provide these features and accesses your Zoom data solely to carry out the actions you request. For details on how this data is collected, used, retained, and shared, see our Privacy Policy.
Adding & Connecting the App
You can connect Zoom to MyVillageOS in a few steps. You only need to do this once.
- Sign in to your MyVillageOS account at portal.myvillageproject.ai.
- Go to Settings → Integrations (also labeled “Connected Accounts”).
- Find Zoom in the list of available integrations and click Connect.
- You'll be redirected to Zoom's secure sign-in page. Sign in to your Zoom account if prompted.
- Review the permissions MyVillageOS is requesting and click Allow to authorize the connection.
- Zoom returns you to MyVillageOS, where Zoom will now appear as Connected. You can begin asking your agents to manage your meetings and recordings.
You can also discover and add the app from the Zoom App Marketplace. Installing from the Marketplace starts the same authorization flow described above.
Using the App
Once Zoom is connected, simply tell a MyVillageOS agent what you want to do in plain language. The agent will use the integration to carry out the request and confirm the result. For example, you might say:
- “Schedule a Zoom meeting with my team next Tuesday at 10 a.m. called Weekly Sync.”
- “What's the join link for my 2 p.m. meeting today?”
- “List my Zoom meetings for this week.”
- “Move my Friday standup to 9:30 a.m.”
- “Cancel the meeting I scheduled for Thursday.”
- “Show me my recent cloud recordings.”
The agent acts only on the specific instructions you give it. You remain in control and can stop or revoke access at any time using the steps below.
Removing & Disconnecting the App
You can remove the integration at any time. There are two ways to do this—either one revokes MyVillageOS's access to your Zoom account.
Option 1: From MyVillageOS
- Sign in to portal.myvillageproject.ai.
- Go to Settings → Integrations.
- Find Zoom and click Disconnect.
Option 2: From the Zoom App Marketplace
- Sign in to the Zoom App Marketplace.
- Click Manage → Added Apps (or search for the app).
- Find the MyVillageOS app in your list of installed apps.
- Click Remove.
What Happens to Your Data
When you remove or disconnect the app, MyVillageOS's access to your Zoom account is revoked immediately and we no longer make Zoom API calls on your behalf. Uninstalling the app triggers removal of the Zoom data we stored to provide the integration—including your Zoom OAuth tokens and any associated meeting or recording data—in accordance with our data retention practices. We honor Zoom's deauthorization notifications: when Zoom informs us that you have uninstalled the app, we delete the corresponding stored data.
